Using of Facial Fillers in 20s, 30s, 40s and Over
Men and women use facial fillers at any age, from their twenties to their forties and fifties. So at what age does it benefit? Physician Gokce Haspolat MD explains:
“Facial fillers are extremely popular because of their safety and long-lasting results. Age is an important factor for patients to determine whether to continue treatment or if treatment is not for them.
Of course, the reasons for choosing a face filler in a patient in their twenties will be different from someone in their forties or fifties.”
Face Filler for Twenties
“For many patients in their twenties, the signs of aging aren't big enough to be treated, so facial fillers in their twenties are largely about aesthetics and appearance.
The most popular treatment at this age is lip augmentation. Lip injections, which add volume to the lips and create a fuller appearance, are a very easy procedure with minimal discomfort and recovery time.
Most of the swelling, bruising, and discomfort from lip fillers will subside after a few hours, and normally by the second day everything settles down completely and it's time to enjoy it.
In addition, another popular treatment in this age group is the filler treatment we make to the jawline.
Facial Filler for Thirties
“Men and women usually start noticing signs of aging in their thirties and looking for solutions.
Dermal fillers are the ideal way to start fighting the anti-aging process, and facial fillers are extremely ideal for those in their thirties, crow's feet and those with under-eye bags or cavities.
The use of facial fillers gives volume to problem areas, fills lines and wrinkles. Dermal filler brands contain hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body.
Hyaluronic acid adds moisture to the face and supports collagen, making it an ideal treatment for people in their thirties who want to start fighting signs of aging.”
Face Filler for Forties
“When patients are in their forties, they tend to have fine lines and wrinkles that become deeper and more pronounced. This is when individuals start to worry about looking older than they really are.
There are many reasons why patients develop wrinkles, including smoking, sun exposure, genetics, and repetitive, natural movement of the face, especially the mouth.
Aging is inevitable, but for common problem areas such as vertical lines or smoker's lines, facial fillers, laugh lines, and volume loss in the cheeks can be treated with dermal fillers.“
Patients at any age can slow down the aging process by staying away from the sun, not smoking and applying different treatments as a preventive measure.
I recommend choosing a doctor who is knowledgeable and experienced with injectable fillers to ensure the safest and best possible outcome of the dermal filler procedure.”
