Does Jane Fonda Regret Getting a Facelift?
Born in 1937, 84-year-old Hollywood star Jane Fonda is an actress who is also on the agenda with her cosmetic treatments.
The star, who has achieved many successes, especially two Academy Awards, never hesitated to mention the cosmetic treatments she had.
Jane Fonda Has Some Regrets About Her Previous Plastic Surgery
Fonda, in a blog post in 2010, shared her Works on her chin, neck and under her eyes, expressing her love for cosmetic surgery.
However, She Completely Abandoned Plastic Surgery in 2020
“I've stopped lifting my face now because I don't want to look crooked,” the 84-year-old star of "Grace and Frankie" said in a recent Vogue interview.
"Now, I don't know if I would. But I used to do it. Ok, I may be addicted to plastic surgery. I tell myself not to keep doing this because I see a lot of women are addicted to it”.
Fonda is Now Embracing The Natural Aging Process
"I won't cut myself anymore," Fonda told MC Elle Caneda, now telling young people "don't be afraid of getting old," arguing that age is more about health than a number.
In her Vogue interview, she also said, "My father died six years younger than I am now. He looked very old because he was sick. He had heart disease. So I'm almost 85, but I don't look that old,” she says.
"Being a certain age doesn't mean you have to give up on life, having fun, having boyfriends or girlfriends, making new friends, or whatever you want to do."
Fighting with My Brain
"Now with those words coming out of my mouth, I'm fighting the second part of my brain and I'm thinking, 'Yeah, Fonda, you have money. You can have a trainer. You can get plastic surgery. You can get facials.
You can get things done that will help you keep looking young. That's right. Money helps. "It happens. Good genes and a lot of money, as someone once said.
But then when I say that, I think we all know a lot of rich women who get all sorts of facelifts and stuff like that, and they look terrible."
Aging Increases Sexual Confidence in Women
In a recent interview with Andy Cohen, she talks about another advantage of aging and says that for women, age often increases sexual confidence.
“Women, I think, lose their fear of saying what they need as they get older. When we get older, we can say no, I know what I want. Give me what I want.”
