How we choose the surgeons on this list
&NewMe lists surgeons it has worked with or checked, mostly in Istanbul. We check registration, specialty and hospital licence on HealthTürkiye, the Ministry of Health portal, and list verified providers first. Cards are ordered by our checks and our history with each provider, not by price, so the first cards can cost more. We do not rank providers or claim that one is better than another.
Female surgeons
No listed neck lift provider is currently labelled as female. Use the female surgeon filter, or tell us you would prefer a woman and we will say who is available. Many patients feel more comfortable with a woman surgeon, and for some it is a condition of having surgery at all. Tell us in your quote request and we will propose providers who match.
What to compare
Compare what is done to the skin and muscle (skin only, platysmaplasty or deep neck work), whether liposuction is included, and whether the plan is a neck lift alone or combined with a facelift. A lower price is only a saving if the same things are included.
What to expect from the stay
Plan about 7 to 10 days in Istanbul: the NHS advises not flying for 7 to 10 days after facial cosmetic surgery, and your surgeon will want to check you before you travel. Packages usually include 1 to 2 nights in hospital. Bruising usually lasts at least 2 weeks, and the final result shows after about 6 to 9 months. Scars sit under the chin and around or behind the ears and fade over about a year.
