How we choose the clinics and doctors on this list
&NewMe lists clinics and doctors it has worked with or checked, mostly in Istanbul. We check registration, specialty and hospital licence on HealthTürkiye, the Ministry of Health portal, and list verified providers first. Cards are ordered by our checks and our history with each provider, not by price, so the first cards can cost more. We do not rank providers or claim that one is better than another.
Female surgeons
No listed hair transplant provider is currently labelled as female. Use the female surgeon filter, or tell us you would prefer a woman and we will say who is available. Many patients feel more comfortable with a woman surgeon, and for some it is a condition of having surgery at all. Tell us in your quote request and we will propose providers who match.
What to compare
Compare who personally does each step (hairline design, harvesting, creating openings), the technique (FUE, DHI or sapphire FUE), the planned number of grafts, how many patients the team treats on the same day, and whether a second session or touch-up is included. A lower price is only a saving if the same things are included.
What to expect from the stay
Plan 2 to 4 days in Turkey: the procedure day and a check with the first wash. Ask your clinic how many days it wants you to stay before you book flights. Most transplanted hairs shed within weeks, new hair usually appears from around month 4, and the full result takes about 12 to 18 months.
