How to compare surgeons and prices in Turkey

To compare surgeons and prices in Turkey, look at named surgeons rather than clinic names, check what each price includes, and read reviews for both the surgeon and the hospital. On &NewMe you can do this in one place: surgeon profiles show prices where available, licence checks and Google reviews, and a coordinator sends free written quotes.

We run &NewMe. Last checked: 6 October 2026.

What to compare

Six things that matter more than the headline price.

The 6 things to compare
  1. 1. The price, and what it includes
  2. 2. A named surgeon, their licence and experience
  3. 3. Real reviews, for the surgeon and the hospital
  4. 4. How the list is ranked
  5. 5. The deposit: who takes it, and when it is refunded
  6. 6. Aftercare after you fly home

1. The price, and what it includes

Check what the price covers: surgery, hospital nights, hotel, transfers and medication. Is it a full package price or a “from” price? Check what is not included, such as flights and travel insurance.

2. A named surgeon, their licence and experience

Compare surgeons, not clinic names. Look for the surgeon’s full name and title, a licence you can check, and how often they do your operation.

3. Real reviews, for the surgeon and the hospital

Read reviews for the surgeon and for the hospital separately, on platforms the clinic cannot edit, such as Google.

4. How the list is ranked

Ask how surgeons are ordered on any list you use, and whether commission or payment affects the order.

5. The deposit: who takes it, and when it is refunded

Know who you are paying - the hospital, an agency or a platform - and when the deposit is refundable, before you pay it.

6. Aftercare after you fly home

Check the follow-up plan, the complication insurance and who to call once you are home.

Then ask for a written, itemised quote that names the surgeon and the hospital and lists what is and is not included. Compare quotes line by line, not headline prices.

How &NewMe lets you compare

Four steps, free for patients. We are a smaller marketplace, so some surgeons have few reviews yet.

1. Filter and sort surgeons
Choose a treatment, filter by hospital or surgeon gender, and sort by &NewMe ranking, price, number of reviews or experience. The ranking uses verified expertise for the treatment, recent activity, patient reviews, verification and completeness of information, hospital accreditation, how actively the provider works with &NewMe and experience with patients from your country. Commission rates do not affect ranking (how we rank providers).
2. See prices on surgeon profiles
Profiles show a “from” price where the provider has given one; others are priced on request. Prices are a guide - the price in the provider’s written quote applies. Start at Find a surgeon.
3. Get free written quotes
Message a coordinator on WhatsApp or use “Get my free quote”. We ask the providers you choose for written quotes and pass messages between you.
4. Check eligibility first (gastric sleeve)
For gastric sleeve, the gastric sleeve page has a quick eligibility check that takes about a minute.

Example: gastric sleeve

Frequently asked questions

Are the prices on comparison sites final?

No. Prices online are usually “from” or guide prices. The final price depends on a medical assessment by the surgeon’s team, and it can change if your treatment plan changes. Ask for a written, itemised quote before you pay.

Is it free to use &NewMe?

Yes. Patients do not pay &NewMe for comparing providers, asking for quotes or our coordination, unless we tell you otherwise in writing before you use a service. Providers pay us: when a patient we introduced books with a provider, that provider pays &NewMe an intermediary fee (commission). See our terms.

Can I book surgery online?

Not instantly. You send a request, a coordinator asks the provider for a written quote, and the booking is confirmed after the surgeon’s team has reviewed your medical information.

What should a written quote include?

The named surgeon and hospital, the procedure and dates, anaesthesia, hospital and hotel nights, tests, transfers, medication, follow-up and the complication insurance - plus what is not included (such as flights and travel insurance), the deposit, who you are paying and the refund rules.

Compare written quotes from named surgeons
